RJ grew up on Cape Cod and started in radio before he was old enough to drive a car… Now, 30 into his career, he still loves what he does! RJ is CJ Country’s Program Director, a title he has held at half a dozen radio stations in the Northeast, including leading country stations in Syracuse NY & Portland ME. You may have also heard him throughout the years on various Rochester stations.

RJ has also spent time working at a few Nashville record labels where he was lucky enough to have a hand in the careers Darryl Worley, Neal McCoy, the Lo Cash Cowboys, and others.

A bonafied broadcasting “geek”, RJ has a fully operational radio studio in his house, and a massive collection of broadcasts from radio’s “Golden Age” that numbers in the thousands! He and his wife Melissa have a son named Riley, dog (Chloe) and cat (Allie). When he’s not working at the station, you can find RJ doing what he loves most- Listening to the radio!
